Decision of the Board to provide CG to students of high school on the island of Milos, within the social policy activities of the company.

Methodological approach, activities implemented

Through the diagnostic evaluation and counseling the goal is to assist students in their professional choice. There were used psychometric tools for diagnosing personality elements, abilities and interests and in combination with counseling end up with alternative proposals.

Results and impact - data of program internal/ external evaluation, beneficiary satisfaction, the impact of the didactical practices at individual and institutional level

The participants were fully satisfied with the program, stating that it helped them a lot in their choice and since they would need enough money to do it privately they were more than helpful.

Conclusions, lessons learned

To assist students residing in a place far away from a central city or the capital of the countly, where they do not have the mechanisms and the bodies to which they can turn for further help and support is great need and brings just as much satisfaction and relief

Directions of further development/ Transferability, replicability

It would be useful corresponding programs that can be applied to other remote areas, or in the same area we could provide further services of social character, such as parental counseling.
